Welcome to Stitchedoodle – Your Whimsical Wonderland of Creativity!
Hello! I’m Sharon—mum, nana, chocoholic and tea lover. I run a small UK business nestled in the stunning landscapes of East Scotland, and I warmly invite you to step into a space where creativity flourishes and mindfulness is celebrated.
My design journey began in the early 2000's when I was expecting my fourth child and found myself on indefinite maternity leave as my workplace closed down. Juggling four children kept me wonderfully busy, yet I always made time to draw and doodle, craft and create. I began creating collections and selling them as paper craft cdroms on eBay. A new crafting channel had emerged on television, capturing my heart and imagination. I never imagined I'd be there on live TV, yet I found myself traveling to and from Peterborough every other week from 2005 to 2012. As my family grew and life became increasingly hectic, it was time to stay closer to home. I sought stability and spent the next twelve years in a high street retail store.
Now that my children have all grown and are charting their own paths, I faced some health challenges, including chronic illness and anxiety. Ultimately, my bustling retail job came to an end in November 2024. This pivotal moment led me to seek a more tranquil and mindful lifestyle, giving rise to Stitchedoodle in January 2025.
My mission is to spread joy and happiness through the enchantment of original, whimsical designs.
